Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia

Project involved the complete re-construction of the research laboratory for the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia, located at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. Working closely with the builder and architect, IPS were engaged to oversee the construction process, monitor the budget, co-ordinate consultants and suppliers of laboratory equipment and ensure construction processes adhere to the strict guidelines set by the hospital. IPS would report directly to the Institute’s Head of Operations. The sensitivity of the project meant IPS would need to ensure all concerned parties including scientists, researchers through to hospital maintenance divisions were briefed and aware of all works which were occurring on a regular basis.  

The project was of great importance and significance to IPS as they successfully managed the delivery of this ground breaking research facility.
